The Coalition for Good Governance and Economic Justice in Africa is pleased to announce the attendance of Presidential Candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Prince Adewole Adebayo, as Special Guest of Honour at their media workshop aimed at promoting patriotic journalism and ethical media practice.
The workshop, themed Balancing Ethics and Patriotism: The Obligations of Journalists To Their Country, is scheduled to hold on May 15, 2023, from 9 am to 2 pm at the Ladi Kwali Hall, Abuja Continental Hotel (former Sheraton Hotel and Towers).
The event will feature presentations from media executives and owners, veteran media professionals, digital influencers, government representatives, growth and stability-focused CSOs and NGOs, and other important stakeholders relevant to the subject. There will also be a panel discussion exploring the role of journalists in preserving and encouraging social cohesion, without compromising the core principles of the profession.
